Our law firm will cooperate with the Czech-Moravian Association of Microbreweries (ČMSMP) on providing legal services to its members in claiming compensation for damage caused by the crisis measures adopted by the Czech Government and the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in connection with the pandemic coronavirus (COVID-19).
Specifically, our office will carry out an analysis of the impact of measures taken by public authorities in connection with the spread of COVID-19 disease and due to these measures incurred and imminent damage to ČMSMP members. If necessary, we will take care of preparing further steps for ČMSMP members vis-à-vis the state, including initiating negotiations and taking possible legal steps to protect the interests of ČMSMP members.
Although, the crisis measures of the Government of the Czech Republic have recently been replaced by extraordinary measures of the Ministry of Health and as a result of this change some weakening of the position of damaged entrepreneurs, there are many reasons and arguments to claim for damages under the Crisis Act, both within the first 10 days of restrictions imposed by the Government of the Czech Republic, as well as during the period of validity of the restrictions imposed by the Ministry of Health under the Public Health Protection Act, therefore, in the event of a failure of negotiations, our office will be ready to take action to recover the relevant claims.
The team dealing with the issue of damages to the members of ČMSMP will be managed by attorney Mgr. Martin Pospíchal.

We believe that we will find an effective way to help the members of ČMSMP to help them maintain their business and keep the culture of microbreweries in the Czech Republic alive.
